Flame Tree Tourist Village is Open Again!

Flame Tree Tourist Village is Open Again!

It’s been a long and difficult couple of months after Cyclone Debbie, but we are overjoyed to announce that Flame Tree Tourist Village is officially open! There’s no way we could have done it without our incredibly hardworking team of staff, family and volunteers, so we must extend a huge THANK YOU to this generous bunch for donating their time. We are not fully operational yet, so we have some incredible offers available online. Why not grab yourself a bargain and escape the winter blues in sunny Airlie Beach?!

Roads to Recovery

Airlie Beach AccommodationWith the help of our permanent residents, returning guests, friends, family and staff, we have managed to clean up and restore our beautiful park to its former glory. However, there is still some structural damage, and we currently have no pool, office or camp kitchens. The camp kitchens will need a slight realignment and a bit of a facelift before they can be used by guests, and the swimming pool is currently empty awaiting repairs.

The good news is that our garden beds are looking fantastic again, and the builders are booked to start work on the pool this week. We had a temporary office delivered yesterday from which we can work and take your bookings.

Cheap Airlie Beach Accommodation

We hope to be fully operational as soon as possible, but until we are, we have some amazing discounts available.  A non-powered site is only $25 per night, and a powered site only $30. With much of the hard cleaning work out of the way, we are looking forward to the winter months in lovely warm tropical Airlie Beach. We will also have our winter spit roasts starting soon and will be doing Christmas in July too. Keep an eye on our Facebookpage for more updates and information on our winter activities.

New Measures Implemented - COVID-19 Update

For all of us effected by this very tragic event we are thinking of you.

Following the latest advice on 24th March from the Prime Minister we have implemented the following measures:

“Where people live permanently in our park, or are staying as an interim abode where their primary residence is not available, they may continue to do so.”

Our doors remain open for interim travellers, however we will require health questionnaires to be completed prior to stay. Our self-contained accommodation is to house people and families in need.

We have implemented additional cleaning and sanitising procedures.

Due to social distancing measures we have limited communal facilities in the park.

Our office is manned by intercom only or you can reach us via phone or email.

Please stay safe and self-isolate to keep all of us safe, so we can look forward to your return.
